Enquiries about results: deadline to reach awarding bodies is 20 September
Did you know that all five unitary awarding bodies now accept EAR requests online through their secure sites? Submitting EARs online can save you time, storage space and postage costs. Your field support officer can show you how to use the online forms.
Visit the awarding body websites for more information:

Field support team success
The NAA field support team continues to make a big impact in centres, with 94 per cent of all exams officers surveyed in July 2006 telling us that they find contact with their field support officer valuable. All exam centres in England have a field support officer assigned to support them in administering general qualifications exams.
If you are new to the exams office, your local field support officer will be happy to guide you through what to expect in the first few weeks of the role.

Key stage 3 ICT test: are you prepared?
The online key stage 3 ICT test is due to become statutory in May 2008. If your centre administers key stage 3 tests, it will benefit exams office staff, students, teachers and network managers to pilot the ICT test in 2007 before it becomes statutory. The NAA will be sending all key stage 3 schools a guide to preparing for and running the test. Headteachers will receive copies for all staff members who will be involved in running the tests - look out for yours.
