The Implications for teaching and learning (ITL) presentations for 2006 are now available to download.

The ITL materials are based on trends that were observed in NAA's analysis of how pupils performed in the 2006 national curriculum tests. They provide teachers with some ideas on the areas they may wish to emphasise when planning their teaching.

The Implications for teaching and learning posters highlight the key findings in the analysis and were distributed to schools and LAs in early November 2006. The accompanying presentations contain a more detailed analysis of how pupils performed on specific questions and aspects of the tests. These have been developed to support school subject leaders and local authority subject/assessment advisers prepare and deliver INSET.
