Submit a case study or resource

The NAA has put this good practice framework together as a result of feedback from the awarding bodies and many exams office staff. We're sure that there are more good ideas to share and we would like to include many more examples of good practice in the future. If you have an example of good practice, no matter how simple or short, please share it now by submitting a case study or resource.

Every month one lucky contributor will win £50 of Marks & Spencer vouchers in our prize draw. The winner's name will be published in XO magazine. All contributors will receive a small package of practical gifts from the NAA.

We believe that most exams offices will have good practice that is worth sharing with others.

Your experience can help support other centres nationally and provide a grass-roots resource for good practice in the exams office.

If you have a good practice example, document, hint or tip, let us know about it. You might not think something you do is worth telling others about, but if it has made an improvement in your exam administration, tell us.

  • Each case study should be approximately 200-300 words
  • Please include the name and type of your centre, the number of pupils and the current exam software
  • For general qualifications please include the number of candidates and the approximate exam budget
  • Section 1: Describe the problem clearly
  • Section 2: Describe the solution
  • Section 3: Describe the benefits.

We will award a package of gifts for every complete case study submitted, and each month our best submission will receive £50 of Marks and Spencers vouchers.
