This circular contains information for independent schools that wish to submit their key stage 1 results for inclusion in the national data.

Included with this circular is:

• a list of the NAA accredited agencies and local authorities that are offering a moderation service to independent schools.

The key stage 1 assessment arrangements for 2007 are the same as those for 2006. Schools should report an overall teacher assessment for each subject, which takes into account each child's work throughout the year as well as their performance in the statutory tasks and tests. Tasks and tests from 2007 or 2005 can be used.
